🧼 Crown Fabrics “Soap ‘n Water” 🧼

This type of labeling and fabric treatment was very popular in the late 1940s thru the 1960s. The name “Soap n’ Water” played off the fabric’s main selling point: its ability to maintain its quality after being cleaned repeatedly with soap and water. This treatment was part of the post-World War II trend of “wash-and-wear” fabrics, making it more convenient for people to care for their clothes at home which made it very appealing for families and everyday use. The designs often featured vibrant, playful patterns like florals, checks, or stripes
